Wild Herbal Discovery: Tea Party

Join us for a children’s tea party at the Lott House! This hands-on workshop promises an exciting journey into the world of wild plants and herbal tea crafting. Guided by Aly Stoffo, the Glam Gardener NYC, children will explore the art of herbal tea crafting, learning how to create, brew, and enjoy their personalized herbal infusions. After we forage for wild plants and learn about some of their uses, children will be guided through the process of making individualized tea blends with wild plants and common herbal plants like chamomile, hibiscus, and mint. As a group, we will craft a wild pesto with plants that we harvest, and attendees will finish the workshop by enjoying a personalized cup of wild tea and a bite of wild pesto!

This is a free event, but registration is required. As a gentle reminder, this workshop is intended exclusively for children, and adults' participation is limited to chaperoning roles only. Please register for the number of children participating in this workshop.

This event is supported by public funds from the NYS Office of Family Services in partnership with Assemblymember Jamie Williams.
