Having witnessed several key historical moments in the history of Brooklyn, New York City, and the United States, the Lott House can serve as a focal point for learning.

From 1720 to 1989 direct descendants of Pieter Lott, who came to Niuew Amsterdam in 1652 inhabited the house. Although the Lott House is not available for school visits at this time, FLH is developing materials that we hope educators will incorporate into their classrooms.
