Livestream Tour of the Lott House with Untapped Cities

Join us for a virtual walk through the historic Lott House, one of the oldest buildings in Brooklyn, temporarily closed to the public for restoration!

Tour Highlights:

  • Peek inside the ‘closet within a closet’ in the attic - the Lott House served as a stop on the Underground Railroad, and family oral history speaks about a room at the top of the stairs that hid freedom seekers on their journey

  • View objects from the home's collection, including farm tools used by the Lott family from the 18th and 19th centuries, newly acquired pieces from Lott family descendants

  • Get an up-close look at the architectural and design elements from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries

  • Hear expert insights from Alyssa Loorya, President of the Hendrick I. Lott House Preservation Association, and Mary Tsaltas-Ottomanelli, Executive Director of the Hendrick I. Lott House

Please note: this virtual tour is free for all Untapped Cities members at the Fan tier or higher
